A good list to be sure of, but a bit out of date. Example, Tikka does not make the whitetail hunter any more but they are are starting to bring in the T3 in LH. SS for right now, with more models & cals to come

Great list, however Chas Daly no longer sells the mini mausers, Remington does.

Also, peruse and see just how few manufacturers make a left hand .308...

The "Matthew" action listed is actually spelled Mathieu. He was a Belgian machinist who made left hand actions in Oakland ,CA. in the early fifties when none were available. Roy Weatherby used them for a time before he came out with the MK V. Fajen Gunstocks sold them in complete rifles in the early 60's.
Of interest is that it was his design that first mated a "Sako" style extractor with a plunger ejector in the bolt face. In fact, his
style extractor pre-dated the Sako( and is half again as large), not the reverse. It may have been Sako who first copied Mathieu's lead. The actions are long and well made. I have one and would not part with it.

Thanks guys, I think of this list as a list of guns that were or are made, that you might stumble across. Stuff like the Remington 788 hasn't been made in 20 years but you still see them for sale occasionally.

Remington hasn't imported any of the left handed Zastava made guns yet. (Mausers and mini Mausers formerly imported by Charles Daly) Zastava says that they will be shipping some lefties to Remington before the end of the year though.

I own a Zastava ( branded Zastava ) mini mauser. I love it to bits, but the action is a little scratchy ( I`m being kind there too ) I got the impression the Chas Daly`s were better than my rifle, but I`m in Australia so I can`t say for sure.

I certainly hope the Rifles sold as Remingtons are better than mine, folk may be disappointed.
