I have a LH Rem. 700VS in .22-250 I don't use. It's in excellent condition, and I doubt it has more than 60 rounds through it.

Rem is making a left hand youth model this year in 308 with a synthetic stock and 20" barrel. should cost a lot less than a cdl.

That's a good idea, especially if you're on a re-barrel project.

Yes they should be out soon. Looks like you can get a youth sps for around $500. It will be tough to sell of a youth stock. I think Ill go for the regular model and part out the barrel and stock.
