Just give everyone a heads up, CDNN has some left hand charles daly mausers (30-06) superior grade for a song as well as left handed auto shotguns. (I just picked up my 30-06 today, bolts a little rough but it's dry and the stock looks sharp). cdnn

Could you post a direct link to the rifles? I could not locate them via a search. Price? Thank you. My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I don't need a 30.06, I don't need a 30.06, I don't need a 30.06, I don't need a 30.06............ You are wrong. Choose the "DOWNLOAD NEWEST CATALOG!!" option, download the catalog, and go to page 25. http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/cdnn/CDNN2007-5.pdf

Jackie- Thank you for the link, but can you maybe be a little less abrasive? I have heard that these Charles Daly's are kinda marginal in action quality (sloppy and loose). Would this be a good action to start a project with? My experience with this action is a little limited, as in 'none'. Thanks- MW

Mike, I purchased a Left-Handed Charles Daily (Zastava) in .30/06 Sprg. It was pretty rough all around, stock, fit & finish but shot very well. Didn't need another .30/06 Sprg. (probably the first Left-Handed rifle a Leftie purchases anyway) but it definately made up into a VERY nice custom 9.3x62. I'd certainly use recommending using the L/H Charles Daily actions as donors for a nice project rifle. Cheers, Number 10

Thanks Gerry, for your input. I may have to call CDNN and see if they have any left. (left, get it? )

Well I'm taking the plunge, the 30-06 is going to be sent off to Jesse to be rebored to 35 whelen, I'm suspending the 358 until I can find a short action mauser. So looks like should have 35 whelen left handed mauser for deer/hog season. (best part is, he will rebore for less than $200) Cool.

I had looked on there a couple times and couldn't find the rifles. I still don't think you should have to download the catalog to see the rifles but oh well. "Science only goes so far then God takes over."

Uh, okay. So what is it you think you should have to do?

Jackie-Thanks for the link, but chill-pill man I just called CDNN and they said the lefties are now gone, darn it. Another opportunity lost by the snoozer (me).

Man I don't give a care what you think. That was my opinion on it and that is that. Its not a big deal so don't try to make it one.. This is America so last time I checked we were still allowed to have an opinion at least on some things. "Science only goes so far then God takes over."

Well, you do care, little man. That's why you responded. But don't waste my time with your incredibly sharp-as-a-tack thoughts and observations, call CDNN and let them know. I'm sure they're eagerly awaiting a "Jackass" wannabe.

For crying out loud man all I said was I didnt think you should have to download just to see the rifles. Simple as that and you act like I committed a henious crime or something. that is my opinion period its no big deal. Im not going to argue with you anymore about something ridiculous like this as if we were 3rd graders or something. I have better things to do than argue with you over this. Have a nice day. And your opinion is of value -- to whom I don't know. You should offer it to CDNN.

Damn it man are we not allowed to have opinions. I just told my opinion, and I dont care of who it is of value too. Some here like CRF some like PF. Some like bolt action, some like double rifles, some like lever actions, some bigbore, some smallbore. Some Alaska, some Africa. Will you just drop it man it is really not worth arguing over. shit man. "Science only goes so far then God takes over."

Wow, what eloquent words. I'm sure CDNN is eagerly awaiting your opinion and would love to hear from you. Why don't you call them and share your thoughts? It would be almost as enchanting as if it came from Beavis & Butthead.

Have you called CDNN yet, J-Rod/J-Dawg? Can I call you J-Rod or J-Dawg? Cool. Anyway, you should call CDNN and share with them what you've chosen to inflict upon us. Tell them you would've bought one of their L-H Mausers, but you didn't since you "still don't think you should have to download the catalog to see the rifles." I'll bet they'd just LOVE to hear from you.

There are very few people in this world who call me J-Rod and trust me you are not one of them.. "Science only goes so far then God takes over."
