| Not a .223, but I have ss/laminate hawkeyes in 25-06, 270 win and 300 win mag and they all shoot a 1/2" at 100 yds. I put lighter trigger springs in all three. I've floated and bedded the 25-06 and 300, haven't done that to the 270 and probably won't. |

Chuck, i ve heard but never seen or handle to take it with limit that the feeding is sometimes not so good with the 223... other than that i like the hawkeye. even if i prefer my new lh Zastavas. all the best. |
