I have a left handed 375 Ruger which I have used on an Alaskan brown bear, a savannah buffalo on an unguided safari in Cameroon plus on assorted critters in Namibia, South Africa, Wyoming, and Alberta. To accompany that fine rifle I also have a really pretty 416 Remingon in a Sako rifle. With that rifle or its twin I have gunned a jumbo and lioness in Zimbabwe plus a few other beasts. It has gotten to be a real hassle for me to take rifles on oversea trips. In Botswana and Zambia I just borrowed a rifle when I arrived. ( I clobbered a hippo in Zambia with an absolutely gorgeous left handed 375 that my partner showed up with. Certainly no complaints with that $7,500 U.S. gun ) I honestly think that I am mostly caught up on dangerous game so will probably sell these two rifles at a local gun show here in Alberta and use the funds to go on another hunting trip.
