I'm looking for just an action and bolt, if anyone has one lying around. I really don't want to bother about bidding for an action/gun on any of the sale sites.

I don't need bottom metal, trigger etc. just a bare action if possible. As long as it isn't pitted badly I don't care about the finish either. Short action preferred but a long action is acceptable if that's all that's available.

If all you have is an old beater rifle with a shot out barrel that's fine also, I'll take it apart.

To tell you the truth Jeff, I'm not sure. I was just going to start building a rifle and see what came out of it.

I've started shooting with some "Tactical Rifle" shooters so I'll probably build one of those detachable mag, sniper type rigs in some kind of oddball caliber just to mess with people.

do you care whether it's a std or mag bolt face?

Oops sorry, I should have specified a .473 standard bolt face.
