I see that CZ offers the 550 in 375 H&H, but it doesnt appear to be offered in anything smaller that I can see.

As it happens, I am mainly looking for a 375, but am also interested to know if any smaller chamberings are offered. Can anyone tall me whether there are 550s out there in smaller magnum cartridges (than the 375) or if a lefty 550 is offered in a smaller boltface, eg a 30-06?

Also, I like the look of the Kevlar CZ stock I have seen on right bolt rifles. Does anyone know if this can be ordered for their right bolt offerings?

I had one of the first LH 550s in 375 and no, it doesn't come any smaller. I had lots of work done to it including slimming down the stock and in the end it was more rifle than the 375 requires and I don't need anything bigger so down the road it went.

You'd have to ask one of stock mfgs if they could do anything about a kevlar stock for you though I'm sure MPI could do something.

.223 is the biggest caliber. If you want anything in between you have to contact their Custom shop. You are looking in the middle 3k range. Otherwise Zastava Mausers is your feasable option.

CZ has a custom rifle ordering plan in place including left handed, just visit their web site.

You can (or used to be able to) order smaller chamberings than the 375 H&H. $$$ pretty pricey though.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Thanks guys. You have confirmed what I thought might be the case.

I will take a look around Australia to see if I can find a CZ 550 in 375 H&H anywhere. I was hoping to be able to turn up a standard boltface model somewhere too for a donor 280 AI build, but it doesnt look like that will happen. Might have to keep an eye out for a Win M70 standard boltface for that project, but M70s seem to be pretty thin on the ground as well these days.

I have 3 rifles built on Zastava actions recently, but was hoping to get some variety for my next builds.
