I just ordered a LH Browning T-bolt in .22WMR for a customer. Also in stock at the time I ordered were left hand T-bolts in .22 LR and .17HMR. I took the last .22WMR but I'm sure there will be others. Only one of the 7 distributors with which I have accounts has them in stock. Contact your local dealer if you want one. If you can't get one locally, let me know. Perhaps I can help.

You've got the market cornered, then. I called all the locals and none have or can get them just yet.
The urge to order up a matching Micro and T-Bolt set is starting to get the best of me.

Vol,
I will touch base with my dealer tomorrow. If he can't get one, I'll be calling on you.

Has anyone purchased or shot one of the 17 HMR's?
I was wondering about the accuracy and how well the feeding was.

I just mounted a scope and zeroed the LH .22 Mag T-bolt I ordered for a customer. One of the advantages of owning a shop with a rifle range is that I get to shoot a lot of new guns, and someone else pays for the ammo. I zeroed the scope in eight shots. Bummer! I was hoping for a long shooting session. I went ahead and shot a whole box of shells anyway, at my own expense because the rifle is so pleasant to shoot. At 75 yards, the rifle groups 5 shots into 1-1/4". I think it would do better with a more powerful scope, but I can't knock a 4X Leupold. I may have to get one of these myself. I really like the stock style. I was a little surprised to see that the rifle ejects the empties to the right!

Hey Vol,
Are you getting any word on the varmint configurations and when they may ship? I may be forced to consider a sporter and varmint configuration. Damn the luck... jumping

I sold a rifle to get one of these in .22LR but I just can't make up my mind. I'd prefer the heavier barrel, but I prefer the stock on the sporter.

The Browning web site and the fellow I talked to at Browning say both stock have the same amount of drop at comb and at heel. How can a classic and a Monte Carlo stock have the same drops?

Vol, when I make up my mind I'll have to get one shipped in to a local FFL. Feel free to PM what you have available. thumb

Only one distributor among the ten or so that I have accounts with has any left hand T-bolts. They're all standard sporters but they are available in all three calibers. Only one each in .22LR and .17 HMR and 2 in .22 Mag.

Placed an order today locally for both a RH and LH Varmit model in .22 mag. Will post when they arrive and how they shoot.

My dealer received both rifles today. Will post a couple of photos of the leftie when I get some time. Cheers.
A quick review: Wood is ok on both, nothing great. Inletting seems pretty good as well, bluing is very nice. Triggers break clean at about 4-4.5 pounds. I like the lack of creep but may turn them over to my smith at a later date to get the lightened a little if they turn out to be good shooters. Glad I ordered the varmit models as the barrels do not appear to be to big and rifles seem to weigh in at about 5.5 6 pounds naked.
