Only owned one Charles Daily in mini mauser 223, it needed work to work properly so I'm not impressed with them.

I have two. I bought one barreled action in .223. The other is just an action. I replaced the bolt handles on bots as the factory bolts are too short. The barreled action is nicely blued so I didn't polish the action. The other action was extensively polished up to 600 grit. It works like an old Krag. I have a nice piece of wood for it, already turned for the action. Now I just need to decide on the caliber. .204 Ruger and 6X47 are two candidates.
