I might be behind the times on these but today was visiting my local dealer and he had this rifle in left hand .223:

I did not realize Remington even made this in .223. Put a deposit on the rifle and will pick it up next week. Seemed like a nice piece with my only complaint being Remingtons short LOP. It will hold 5 down as well. Might get the barrel cut down to 24 inches before I start playing with it. Price was the best part, $558 out the door.

Nearly grabbed a used one off of a local dealer chambered in 17FB. But, like the story often goes, went back to get it and it was gone.....
