Mass production? Right now I think 338 Mag is as big as any manufacturer makes. Custom Maker? If you've got the money, someone will make it for you. Been waiting for three years to see a big bore CZ and it still hasnt happened. As far as I know Ruger never made a 375 H&H, 458 or 458 Lott in any left handed rifle ever. My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Life is good Lots of great fishing this year and some new rifles to play with. Chapuis double, Hein leftie 375, and waiting on another MRC Lott. Hope to nail a moose this fall with the Chapuis! Seriously, CZ has been telling me that for 3 years on the big bore lefties. My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Left-hand Ruger 77 in 458 Lott built by Bill Atkinson, senior man at Ruger for 20+ years. All Ruger parts except for Shilen select-match barrel, New England sights, and recoil pad. Two others were made -- one for Bill Ruger Sr. and one for Bill Ruger Jr. Atkinson has since past away.

Anyone can have a factory Ruger converted to a 375 H&H or Lott. All it takes is to write a check! I was referring to the fact Ruger never offered a factory left handed rifle to the public in 375 or 458, etc........ Sorry if I was not clearer on this. My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Snowwolfe, Yes, anyone can write a check and have something converted. And yes, Ruger never offered one to the public as a catalogued item. But this one was built by Ruger people with Ruger materials using Ruger tooling. So us Idahoans might think a little different about it than one put together otherwise, but that is just personal pride. Not defensible.

Fivebigbores, I never did shoot the first MRC Lott. Someone made me an offer I couldnt refuse so it went bye bye. The one I have on order is due to be shipped to me sometime in August but the McMillan stock is not scheduled to be made untill Novemeber so it will be a while before it will see some range time. My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

MRC ss barreled action is just over $1,000 and the McMillan is $425 (ordered off the guys over at 24h our camp ground). Sure wished Ruger or CZ would get into the market as the rifles would be cheap enough I could buy several and really go broke, lol My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
