Anyone else seem that Pat's Sporting Goods in Penn. is taking orders for a special run of left hand Cooper Phoenix rifles in 204 Ruger. I was very excited until I saw that they are charging double retail of the right hand model. There add is on Gunsamerica.
Double? I guess that's a "special" order. Kind of like riding the "special" bus to school.

I can't imagine why someone wouldn't just buy a LH Cooper Classic (~$1500) or Varminter (~$1300) and get an aftermarket synthetic stock for ~$300 and be perfectly happy with the $1000 they'd save over that other 'deal'.
My LH Cooper Varminter .17 Mach IV shoots in the .2s or below consistently (my best group @100yds. was .172").

Bell & Carlson has supplied stocks to Weatherby, Remington, Cooper, others over the years.
B&C replaced H-S Precision as the supplier of stocks for the Remington 700 VS/VSSF/Sendero rifles a couple of years after they came out; I heard that H-S Precision is once again the OEM supplier but cannot verify this.
