Lefties have a right to eye candy too. 275 Rigby by Dorleac & Dorleac on an FZH action. Let the slide show begin and see each step in the making. Enjoy. http://www.dorleac-dorleac.com...rigby-rifle/?lang=en _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

I hope you'll forgive my ignorance but until being introduced to the Dorleac product I had no knowledge of such fine rifles being made in France. If they shoot 1/2 as good as they look they're masterpieces. Really outstanding looking.

I wanted to show this not only to highlight Dorleac & Dorleac, but also the fact that brand new left hand Mauser actions are available from FZH in Germany. I know that lefties don't have a lot of options, other than GMA or CZ (or the once in a while used Model 70), but the FZH actions in the hands of a good rifle maker look pretty good to me. Duane Wiebe brought them to my attention just recently, he likes them. As for French firearms, I think almost everybody on AR knows about the Verney-Carron and Chapuis double-barrelled express rifles. Dorleac just doesn't seem to get as much exposure. At least one AR member has a 500 Jeffery made by Joel Dorleac and posted a picture here: http://forums.accuratereloadin...1019521/m/9901053902 _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

Nice to get a shout out on a site like that. Even though that appears to be their "standard" grade or whatever they call it, it's still in the 99th percentile of rifles on the planet. Some of the other ones on their site, the best-quality versions, are almost unbelievable. _____________________________________________________ No safe queens!

That rifle's enough to make me wish I'd been born left-handed. analog_peninsula ----------------------- It takes character to withstand the rigors of indolence.
