ok so i hear they are making these but how do i get my hands on one, and is 1700 really the price. all i really want is the action for a rigby build.

Beacause they have us over a barrel.

With the limited run they did, they could likely put a $2000 price on them & they likely would sell as fast.

Do you have a line on one? I know they're tuff to find but I might know where one is.

Local shop had one for 1749 plus tax a while back. I posted it's location and shop here and someone called and bought it (I think).

I'll set the hook one of these days.

No, I haven't decided what to do with it. It's still box-stock. It will be something between a 404 and 600. I just haven't made up my mind.

You could have the first 600 OK north of the border though. The boys in Australia are building one as we speak, and if you hurry you could beat them and have the first one in the Empire.

Extractor beveled for single load capability
glass bedded the action to the stock
