Gents: I'll also put this in the classifieds. The wife had a car accident with some of the construction workers last week and we need to repair the vehicle. I have a LH Echols Legend stock (std fill) which has been inletted by McMillan for a M70. It needs final inletting. Normal circumstances on this stock are about $800+ and 6 months to get it all done. Your's today for $500 shipped. Second, I have a LH MRC 1999 SS action (long action and a std boltface) for sale. Normal circumstances on this action is $800+ and 90 day wait from MRC. Your's today for what I paid: $550 shipped. I'd prefer to sell together and will do so for $975 shipped. Thanks, Jeff

Do you have pictures of the stock in it's current condition and has there been anything done to it since it has come from D'Arcy?

Hi Chuck. Trying to get it photo'd. No, it remains as it came to me from the Echols company. I think it's really nice and wish I did not have to liquidate. Life happens. It is inletted (as per standard by Echols for a #3 barrel) and requires final inletting (ejection port and bolt notch) and is a std fill. PM me your private email address and I'll get a pic to you asap. thanks.

I think I can get one from Echols in the condition yours is in for around $450. I assumed you had added a pad, paint, swivels etc. when you said under normal circumstances $800.

I contacted McMillan to ask about their inletting services and they told me that if I were to get an echols blank they would inlet it and the final cost for the blank and the mcmillan work would cost me roughly 800 plus the waiting time. i apologize if I was confusing in the original post.

That's interesting. Did you buy this stock directly from McMillan?
