Has anybody ever heard if there is a chance of these ever being available left handed? My dad has a couple of the right hand versions (.223 and .300wthby) and they seem like very good values.

Doubt it. In the last few years both Remington and Ruger dropped their LH stainless line and Winchester ceased making any LH rifles at all.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I'm a lefty, and appreciate Browning A-Bolts - have a 270, 300, 325 & 375. One kid has a Weatherby 243 and the other a Browning A-Bolt in 270. I'd get a Browning or a Savage - you can find deals out there! Good luck.

Sam308,

Weatherby once again makes left handed rifles. I don't know about the Vangard but they do make several varieties of Mark V's.

Best,
