Trying to get a rough idea of what a M70 Classic in 30 06 may be worth; 98% condition.

I am assumming it is blued/walnut?

On gunbrokers it could go for anywhere from $550 to $750. Depends on if you made any alterations and if you have the factory box or not. Mostly it depends on if someone is looking for that particular rifle at that point in time.


My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

No, the box it was originally shipped in.
Personally I don't see why they are important but sometimes people bid more for the total package.
