triggerRecommendations for US Elk hunt under 5K
Are there any decent elk hunts available in the US for under 5K including outfitter fees and license? Or am I just dreaming. Looking for fair chase with a sighting of elk and a 75% chance of a shoot at 300 yds or less with a rifle, with the possibility of a 300 class bull.
This all I can afford.
Thanks

CrazyquikGuided or semi-guided.
I am pretty sure you can get either, just what you're looking for. A friend of mine has gone to Colorado about 5 years in a row, carries a .300 Mag (that gives you an idea of range, although they get in the timber too), I'll ask him how much his is for 5 or 7 days.
You have to be able to ride a horse to go on those hunts though. Can you ride, are you looking for stand hunting or stalk or what?

They change the pictures on their website regularly so you could see what we killed last fall. I hope this helps.
