Had a wonderful hunt in Bandera with Rodney and Bighorn Hunting. This was a hunt for the freezer, so we took a couple of does. We saw a large variey of game; elk, kudu, red stag, sika, fallow, black-buck, gazel, and a lot of animals that I can't remember the names. There are a lot of trophy quality animals there.

Finding the animals we were after wasn't a large problem, but, like any other type of hunting, getting the proper kind of shot took some doing.
We saw a lot of country on this hunt, but I don't think we saw near all of the area he has availabe to hunt.

The lodges they have to offer are first class. The fire-place in the small lodge was a true blessing with the snowy week-end.

We're already working on getting some of our friends to make another hunt in 2-3 months. I think that if you book a hunt with Rodney you will have an experience that you will thoroughly enjoy.

What ranch did you hunt on?

Forest Ranch

I thought so...I have hunted it many times with Greg R. Very nice ranch and I was able to take a couple of nice blackbuck and a great red stag there this past summer.
