Juan, I really enjoy your posts. Great pix. I know you are proud of your son and his abilities. My oldest son started going with me when he was five and has been hunting with me ever since. He is 26 now and got married two nights ago. Here are a couple of pix at our hunting camp taken of him after a varmint hunt and morning hunt during our deer season.

Congratulations to your son ,i see ,you hunt a lot ,of varmints ,do you hunt hogs too ,with dogs and knives. Very nice ar15 here are very rare thanks to this left wing goverment ,but i train regularly with them at army ranges.I supouse that when kids grow older is nice to see the photos of the times you have been with them in the outdoors.Walt Hampton sent me a book i recommend you TALES OF BUCK MOUNTAIN where he writes about his kids and dogs in a wonderfull manner...I ALWAYS SAID THANK YOU GOD FOR MY BOY AND 2 GIRLS .Juan

Juan. I am just the opposite, I have two boys and a girl. They are between the ages of 23 and 26. My daughter is getting married on September 12th.
I live in the city in a suburb. I do not live on a ranch or land. I have two hunting leases. Both are about 320 mile away from my home. I go there once a month for several days from January through October. While there I hunt varmints and hogs. Our deer season is the months of November and December. I spend about 30 days in deer camp during those two months. We have varmints, hogs, white tail deer, axis deer, audad sheep and blackbuck antelope. As I live in the city, I do not keep hunting dogs. We trap hogs and shoot them with bows, pistols, shotguns and rifles. I sometimes kill 30 to 40 hogs a year.

Friend ,here we are with my son looking your photos ,incredible how many species you have in your land ,you have a hunting paradise .When i was younger i use to hunt many ,many axis deer ,here in Santa Fe province and some blacbuks too ,we hunted them usually walking more than 40 kms a day with backpacks ,we retrieved all the meat in our backpacks .In my frams the most common game are birds ,wingshooting is great ,but we dont have so many big game species ,that audad is great.Juan and Juan

I cant wait till you come. The season opens tomorrow in the area where we did most of our hunting. I'll be out at first light. You will need to come the end of Oct...and early November so we can hunt buck during the rut and then bear with the dogs. Crossbows are legal archery equipment in this area now.
