Hi Guys, I just returned from a successful Cougar Hunt with Doug McMann aka “chilcotin hillbilly”, What is great about hunting in British Columbia is that you can purchase 2 Cougar tags, so we shot a good Tom on day one and then held out for one of the Super Toms that this area produces. Doug always gets at least 1 legitimate 200 pound tom each year, although we saw good tracks almost every day we did not cut that special track that we were looking for. This area is where the world record Cougar was taken so it is only a matter of time before that record may get broke. Doug has great equipment, excellent dogs, a beautiful lodge, and his wife Julie is a great cook not to mention she is the “Cake Boss” of B.C. Canada. So anyone looking for a quality hunt this is the place. If anyone would like to contact Doug his info is below along with a few pictures.

I had a wolf run out in front of the truck today when I was coming back from a cougar hunt.
I never got a shot off which is to bad but made it home to patch up all four dogs as things got a little western.

hope your dogs are ok,,, and did you get the cat?

Yes I got the the cat with the end of my boot numerous time and with a stick once or twice.

Great photos of the hunt,that lake area pic shows it to be stunning country.
