Has anyone hunted with this outfitter? Looking about a Barren-Land Caribou hunt. They list two locations Kimmient (Lake Harbour) and Nanavut (Lake Baker).

I worked in Baker Lake some years ago. Some years the caribou basically went right through the village (saw this in a few villages in the horth, actually). Other years they were a pretty good jaunt away (floatplane or boat, depending on which way you were going). I'm afraid I don't know anything abou this outfitter, though. - Dan

A friend hunted Baker in 1999. He said it was a good experience and would use them again.

Die Ou Jagter,

I have, sitting here, a very nice brochure from Canada North. They appear to me to be extremelty professional. I have spoken with them before about some fair chase Bison hunts that they outfit in the Northwest Territories and they seemed to have their act together.

JMHO,

I was there in the 80's I agree about the fishing

It was nice to get paid to go to a spectacular fishing place.

John, I have talked with them and they are booked for this year, but now I am talking with them about a Roe buck hunt in the Czech Republic.
