Here are images of our wild boar hunting in Indonesia.

They are plenty and its free to hunt , no license and fee are required.

Sometimes the boars are infesting some area such as Palm Plantation and the owner invites us to decrease its population.

I am sorry for this inconvenient, after many attempts I could not post those images. Please click the link :

web page

Thanks T.Car for your attention

Abdi

Sounds like fun, but I can't get the images either. Just those dreaded red x's.
There are some people on here who know how to post photos, unfortunately, I'm not one of them.

BantengRaider,

Thanks for the pictures. Sounds like a good time, pigs and no trophy fees. Where do I sign up?

Congrats Banteng,

Nice pigs! What are they? S. verrucosus ? Can tourists go hunting to Indonesia, or is this just for residents?

Okay gentlements,

There might be a hunting agent in Indonesia, but I havent checked it yet. I think it can be arranged for tourist to hunt here.

Wild boar can be found all parts of Indonesia. It is completely wild and never been tamed before. I am sure the species is different than domesticated one. I will check its latin name.

The bull may weight 240 kgs, but average 100 kgs. Once I shot the Bull on the shoulder and it ran away crossed the swamp into the thick jungle and never been found. It absorbed full 375 H&H 300 gr Silvertip bullet.

We hunt at night by car and also stalking, spotting in the evening as well. They usually come out of the jungle in the evening. We spot it on rice field, palm or coconut plantation, nuts field etc. It is not possible to stalk them in the jungle due to dense and rough terrain. You may not see them even 6 yrds away in the jungle.

Sometimes we spot Tiger (panthera tigris)in boar infested area because it hunts the boar too. The boar is his primary meal. Usually seen at the edge of the jungle. But watch out Tiger is very beautiful and an endangered spieces as well.

We can hunt the boar the whole year.

We hunt the boar at the daytime or at the Monlight.
Its not aloud to hunt with a spot.
But on monlight you can hunt boar with a good scope like the Zeiss 8X52 Diasta .My boarrifle is my Mauser 66 in 8X68S.
We have to pay for hunt [Frown] ,a lot [Mad] .
