Yes, they are required. As I recall, we got ours ahead of time. Pay the fee for the VIP treatment in Dushanbe. it is well worth it and the building is absolutely magnificent. | |||

I just got back on December 13 from my hunt there for MP and Ibex. We registered for Visa and gun permits ahead of time and I was actually asked by Turkish Airlines for my gun registration before I left the states. Ditto on the VIP treatment in Dushanbe. They made the clearing process a snap both ways. Well worth the $100 or so they charge. | |||
