I live up near Edmonton, Alberta and am getting married this summer. The wife and I would like to take our honeymoon down in Texas next January and go hunting for some of the exotics. Probably Black Buck and Auodad. We have started looking for outfitters/lodges.

Since it is our honeymoon I have been instructed that it has to have nice facilities to stay at. So I know that it is going to cost me more, but hey I get to go hunting so what the hell.

Does anybody have any suggestion?

I found 777 and Indianhead ranches websites, but I am worried that these would be canned hunts and I am not interested in anything like that.

I am an outfitter in Texas. I have some great ranches with Aoudad and Blackbuck. Quite a few people on this forum have hunted with me and can attest to my hunting ethics. I have hunted with Greg Rodriguez many times and I am here to tell you that you will not find a finer outfitter/guide than him! I am looking forward to hunting with him on my first trip to Africa this July!
