These little Coues deer are the most fun and challenging to hunt.

They're very hard to see and even harder to keep track of after you find them.

They're like ghosts that appear and disappear at will.

Then - being quite small - they're hard to hit; and, you've got to be ready to shoot at long distance, sometimes over 500 yds. under windy conditions.

I used the 140 VLD Berger hunting bullet. Berger hunting bullets work on thin-skinned game, and they're very accurate - but you have to fuss with the seating depth since they have secant ogives. The hybrid ogive Berger hunting bullets should be easier to work with.
