Bulgaria is an incredible destination for free range Stag and Fallow. I filmed my hunt in Bulgaria in Jan of '14. I passed on a Stag that I should have shot, and shot a Fallow that was a phenomenal animal. The pricing to hunt in Bulgaria is very favorable. I think the trophy fee on this Fallow was around $1400 or so. You couldn't touch this quality of Fallow in Texas for that price! Plus, this place is loaded with Stag. I have hunted Europe only 3 times now, I love Africa, but being half as far and half the cost, I'll be back to Europe again soon. Stag and Fallow Deer Hunt in Bulgaria Video! I agree on Europe being a fine hunting destination with some very cool and inexpensive hunting, Wendell. I definitely want to do more of it myself! So far, Scotland, Spain and Croatia and enjoyed every country. Great hunting paired with excellent touring and wonderful food and accommodation. Hard to beat...
