Mike: Teddy Fairhurst is a well known name in the Argentine hunting industry. I understand he operates mainly out of Corrientes Province and often hunts water buffaloes.
Unfortunately I cant provide more info, I didnt hunt with him, but many years ago Ive shot his gun in 8 gauge at the Tiro Federal de Nez.
Good luck and feel free to contact me on other subjects regarding Argentina.
Regards

Nainital, Thanks for the info. I have a hunt I bought at SCI with them in 05. I also have a seperate group of 6 or 7 friends who are all going to argentina to bird shoot this year. I plan on combining it into one trip.

Mike: you don´t specify the kind of birds to be hunted. I understand that water buffaloes are hunted the whole year.

Sorry I didnt make myself clear. I was only asking about water buffalo. I know they can be hunted year round. I was asking if one season was better than another. The bird shooting may be a seperate trip.

Mike: I don´t know how the buffs suffer the heat...now we have temperatures which exceed 100ª Farenheit..go figure. The Northern Provinces are hotter of course and some days ago Santa Fe City had 50ª Celsius. That´s hot!
