Date of Hunt: January 24 –Feb. 04, 2007 Location: Sonora Mexico Animals Harvested: Desert Mule Deer and Coues Whitetail Animals Seen But Not Hunted: Bobcat, Fox, Coyotes and Javelinas Guides: Teto This is a brief report, I will prepare a more descriptive paper. I hunt there since 1985. For this hunt I used a Blaser R93 cal. 6.5x68RWS with a 6-18 Swarovski scope. I was shooting the Barnes 120 TSX at 3350 fps. I was there very late in the season; The weather was hot so the deer movement scarce and very early in the morning or late in the afternoon, even so I saw White Tail Deer and Mule Deer every day in good numbers. I got my mule deer the second morning and the white tail on the fifth day. Here are the photos. I shared the camp with my good friends Camilo Bugallo and his son Francisco Javier. Excellent trophies... look forward to the details of your hunt. Congratulations! On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
