Hate to say so but I predicted folk would start getting pissed with african crap. Some of you say "so long,no biggy" but ask yourself what your going to do when your favorite SA outfitter has gone teets up due to lack of customers..

I finnaly scrap up 8K for a Buff hunt....now those hunts are all over 10K.

Looks like I'm heading to Argentina instead of Zim.

It's simply supply and demand. If they want to keep from going teets up the prices will go down but as long as people are paying high prices they will stay inflated. World events, politics, war etc play some part of this. Let a major 9/11(God forbid) type event happen again when no one is going anywhere, and you'll see the prices come down.

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.

US$8K will buy you a very nice water buffalo hunt in the Top End of Australia. Maybe save a bit off that amount as well.

Wait till you see the price of the plane ticket to South America! I could fly twice for what I pay to go to Africa.

Actually right now, I show 1200 to Buenas Aries and 1800 to SA. Of course that's from Montana, it may be cheaper from the east coast.

Saw that you were in NJ and checked. From Newark to SA is about 1300 and from Newark to Buenas Aries is about 900. That's what I get for living out in the sticks.
