What a grand web site!
I had never thought of hunting Poland. What are the restrictions on firearms? And what is the exchange rate?

The best is to apply for gun permit at the Polish Embassy or Consulate in your country.Hte

Polish consulate in Sweden has the forms/applications for firearms as pdf file on their website [Smile]

The currency in Poland is Zloty. the exchange rate zloty to sek is about 2.13, soo you will get around 4-4,5 zloty per .

Poland is a very nice country and the people is very friendly.

Wojtek,

I would be interested in hearing about your hunt for European Bison. To what degree are they a fair chase hunt in Poland? Are they fenced or running wild?

Best Regards,

To obtain a permission of coming to Poland with your firearm you must apply to a Polish Embassy or Consulate in your country.
Do not EVER agree coming on a hunt in Poland willing to borrow one! Such hunt will be treated illegall and considered as poaching!!

All the prices on my website are in Euro. The exchange rate is 1.1 USD for 1 Euro.

Having any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Poland is the only european country proud to have really wild european bisons herds living in 3 basic locations of the country in the primeval forests not fenced of course.
It's also the only country where hunting natural bisons is permitted though only 4-6 permissions per year are given.
Best period to hunt bison is november-february, a stay of 3 days minimum is recommended and included in the pricelist.
Having any other questions don't hesitate

Very nice sight, my guess in the comming years, Poland is going to be getting some big ecomomic boosts. Tourist trade will grow along with a lot of other things. My grandmother came from Poland, she would have loved to see a Free Poland, She had two brothers that ended up in Soviet Hands in 1939. Yep, I think next year, Red Stag hunting in poland will be just the ticket, and to eat polish food again, that has been way to long ago.
