Hunt: Coues Deer Buck
Outfitter: Manuel Maldonado
Firearm: Gunwerks 7mm LRM, 180gr Berger bullets

A few months ago I announced a coues deer hunt in the forum to take place in my new lease were I was feeling very confident about being able to take a nice deer.

Well my good friend and repeat client Lance Darnell from New Mexico took on my offering and we managed to take a very nice coues buck on our 3rd day of hunting, after seeing around 22 does and youngsters, 2 small bucks and a big buck who gave us the slip, we managed to find this deer with a female on the third evening and after a fantastic shot we had it in the salt. I am still in school so I was only able to book a hunt this year, I will be offering this same hunt next year when I will have way more time and hopefully be able to book a couple more hunts.
Enjoy the pictures!

Superb buck, that one. Well done.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

No idea what he scored, I guess him at mid 90s as it was broken off at one point maybe a bit more, it is a nice deer either way tu2

Manuel,

Felicitaciones!

A beautiful buck for your client. I hope you continue to offer members here an opportunity or two in the future to hunt these little gray ghosts.
Until then, good luck with your schooling.

Thanks for sharing
