Daniel MA report of a good Bear /Boar hunt in Spain
Here you have a photo of a successful week-end in Cantabria Spain at the Reserva de Caza del Saja , winter 1934 .

The photo was taken in 1934 , most of the hunters are from Belgium , ( workers at a Solvay Factory in Cantabria ) , I'll investigate when was the last time a bear was shoot legally , now absolutely forbidden .

470NELast Bear hunted legaly in Spain was in the sixties (I guess it was in '68) and it was a female bear hunted for a Guy from Barcelona.

I readed the story some time ago, and there was a picture of the legal permit. The hunter's son was the writer and he still owns the bear at home.
