Is there still dove hunting in Mexico for non-residents? I just haven't heard anything about it like I used to. Thanks for sharing info.

Probably, but the cartel has had its effect on tourism and hunting, like everything else..I wouldn't go there..I spent a lot of time in Mexico and on the Texas border and its a great country and lots of great hunting, but its not worth the risk today..

Yes there is very good dove hunting in Sonora, some very good one close to Hermosillo with the best one being by Obregon, we offer those hunts early before starting deer season and the shoots are phenomenal, things are not bad regarding the cartel if you stay away from the dicey locations from the border, this is all coming from someone that actually lives down here and spends lots of time in both areas, I personally live down in Hermosillo and hunt deer around here and have NEVER had an experience with the cartel and I go to Obregon to fish and spend time around once a month as my business partners live there, so I think there is some value to my opinion, it is by no way a marketing tactic is just my personal view of things from 29 years of living down here and spending time in ranches all my life.

Looks like fantastic shoots are still available.
I need to look into it in the near future.

I love hunting and fishing in Mexico. Had a few scares on my last trip and had to cancel part of our hunt. Going to Mag Bay in October for Stripped Marlin. Always register with the State Department your travel dates.

MagBay is in the middle of bumfuck nowhere. You had some scares and had to cancel part of your last trip. And you are going back? Maybe things have changed but in the past there were plenty of striped marlin not far north up the coast from Cabo…… Eeker

Save your money and stay in America. From Gila Bend Arizona to Yuma, there is also world class dove hunting. The only difference between what your seeing and Arizona is bag limits.

It's all Agricultural, canal water based flights.

Had an excellent 3 day dove and duck hunt in Sinaola this past Feb with 9 friends. Nice lodge, with great food, and outstanding service. No issues whatsoever.
