I just completed had my second hunt with Boaring Experiences. My son-in-law Robert flew in from Alabama, and we hunted a couple of days with Kyler Hamann. Like the previous time I'd hunted with Boaring Experiences, we had a great time! Robert wanted a big "wall-hanger" to take back to the new house he is building, so we decided that he would get first crack at shooting. Kyler had informed me beforehand the big boars were very hard to find, as there had been little water all year, and the pigs weren't as big as last year. We hunted several areas, and saw a lot of little piggies, coyotes, a bobcat, and several blacktailed deer, but no big hogs. Kyler is great fun, and an excellent guide. He has tons of stories about Africa, pigs, big bores, Sakos, and funny client stories (though he never tells their names - whew! lucky me). He is very entertaining, and makes the hunt a lot of fun. We had fun teasing Robert, as he showed up for the hunt in full "Alabama Camo". Looked like a REALTREE commercial. The second morning we went out, and saw a black pig wayyyyyyyyyyyyy across a field, and stalked to within about 10-15 yards of it before it saw us. It was a little black boar, and it was tremendous fun to be able to get that close undetected. I'd never been that close to a live wild pig. It finally saw us, snorted, and ran away lickety split. Later that morning, we split up, and worked our way down a couple of draws. Kyler dropped us at the top, and we agreed the three of us would meet at a predetermined spot in the road below. Robert went down one side of the draw and I went the other way. Working down the draw, I jumped a couple of pigs and got a shot at a meat pig at about 50 yards. It was the first animal I'd shot with my new Ultra Light Arms 300WSM. Shot it once with a 180 grain Failsafe, and it dropped to the shot. No movement at all. I had never used a Failsafe before, and if it works like this everytime, I'm impressed. The pig looked a lot bigger before I walked up to it, but I was happy nonetheless. Jeff That's me on the left, Kyler on the right, and Robert lying down in front.

Weidmannsheil from Hamburg to your boar. In Germany we call the male boar "Keiler". So you get the right guide "Kyler". HKW
