I just returned from a really good Aoudad hunt in West Texas. Mulie Mike posted an offer here in mid July and I booked it for over the Labor Day weekend, everything was as advertised, accommodations were in in a bunkhouse on the working cattle ranch, way more than adequate. Food was very good as well.
First day was a little slow, with a few groups of sheep spotted at a distance, second morning we got on a ram that the guide deemed borderline, that we passed at 20 yds. We saw a couple of groups in the afternoon, went after the closer bunch and had the wind change and send them down over the edge of the mesa, we were able to relocate them and ended up with a 180 yd shot down over the cliff edge. We went back around and came up from the bottom for retrieval. I have a few pictures if someone would like to post them.
