I killed this deer on our ranch over the holidays. I was spot/stalking a field that I had seen some does in and some younger bucks. This old 8 point came trotting out as I was laid prone glassing the field.
He's a management buck that needed to be taken off the place but he's definately a nice buck.
I shot him at a little over 100yds with a Remington PSS .308 using a Hornady 155gr A-Max bullet. Andy Harris loaded this ammo for me and every deer that I've shot this year with it has dropped where they were shot.
The other buck antlers I am holding came from another buck, killed by my uncle the day before.

Great buck, that remy 700 in 308 is just a sweet gun.

Nice deer ryan. Were these taken on the Cutbirth place that I hunted with you in Dec ' 05? I got my buck from the Brownwood taxidermist last fall and while still not the biggest boy in the crowd, he still looks good on my wall in the house.
