You are correct. At least for the Kamchatka area. The Russians are in the middle of a big pi$$ing contest as to which government office should regulate hunting. They had better work it out post haste or I am pulling the plug on my May '06 bear hunt. And to think I gave up Africa in '06 to do this hunt!! I must be friggen nuts!!!

Terry,

Spring hunts cancelled. Maybe fall hunts will go forward. Who knows on next year. Like I said have your friend stay in close contact with the outfitter. Some folks actaually got in camp this year and found the season was closed.

my spring hunt got cancelled this year also...i have got a funny feeling the fall hunt will be also cancelled...and who knows about next year!!!
