My Dad returned from a business trip in Iran, and said the Natural History museum is a must see with many huge trophies. He visted some friends who hunt there and the local permits are supposedly very cheap (I think they said $60 for some species) but that many people shoot for meat only, making trophies hard to find.

Baref Boghossian and shadlava of cours every thing persian is very fine and exclusive but the prices are a litlle bit too high .I have to agree with you and if the hunting situation shall change and american hunters began to hunt in Iran I am sure the price will double at once. Then if you want to hunt in Iran then do it now before it is too late regards danny

Oh yeah, he says it was the hardest hunt of his life, walking 8-10hrs in the snow at 4300 meters...
