the roe deer calf hunting season in central Italy is almost finished.
The beginning is tha Jan first and the end the March 10 th.
This year I have got few good animals.
I used the Blaser K95 cal 7x65 r, ammuntion: RWS KS 123 grains.
First hunt was in the mountains of Parma's province. With my buddies We took 3 animals in one and a half day of hunting.

I shot this doe at the distance 240 meters.

Last week-end we went in the same region, but in the province of Modena. We saw very many animals:

Congratulations and Weidmann's Heil to your success!

Antlerless roe deer hunting is a very rewarding and challenging sport, especially when you succeed in getting the one or two fawns AND the doe.

Hi Mario
Nice pictures, and good to see a young hunter getting his first blood!

Do the does and fawns have separate seasons?
Here you can shoot females from 1 November - 31 March.

Cheers
