Nice pics Willy. I hope to get to Aregintina someday and hunt.

Just curious, what happened to the buck on the end with the large wound on his hind quarter. Did someone get a little too hungry?

I understand the blackbuck is an exotic in Argentina. Where does it originally come from? Are there any left in its original range?

The blackbuck is native to India. there are more blackbuck in Texas than in their homeland. Texas has supplied at least two groups of blackbucks in transplants back to India in the last few years

You know I am very pleased with my .375 H&H which is my primary hunting rifle Big Grin ... but I think that that certain place and hunting conditions might allow me a change for a while Wink ... I am developing a new reload for my .308 using Hornady bullets, 170 grs (FP) which would make me have almost a 30 30 shot ... just wanting to give my little carbine another opportunity to prove its value Cool

There was a show on TV not too long ago where they were hunting Blackbuck in Argentina. Supposedly, the property they were hunting on was 20,000 acres and had a population of 10,000 Blackbuck! Eeker Anybody know of this place?

Eland Slayer: there are several ranches that big here. I suppose that the TV show was shot at La Corona or La Guarida del Zorro, both near Buenos Aires in the Province of the same name.

Juan, gentlemen: What distances were the blackbucks shot at? Is this wide-open terrain, or werethe bucks taken within range of iron sights?
