Got back from Sonora a couple of weeks ago. Had a great hunt, saw alot of deer, chased a MONSTER all week and just couldn't make it happen. Ended up shooting one of my 2 "back pocket" deer right at dark on the last night.

I hate to talk about deer I didn't bring into camp as the general response is that it is BS, but he kept me up at night. Haven't had that fever for years thumb

I know the feeling ALL to well... I missed a 120+ coues down there just last year. 3 weeks after i missed that chip shot, I was elephant and buff hunting in Zim. As we were walking ele trails I cant even recall how many times that buck and that miss crept into my thoughts even as i was on a dream hunt!! Even to this day it gets to me knowing I missed a Booner coues that I had chased for those last three weeks on the lease. So close...
