Solvi: Thanks for the slide show. Wow that is some beautiful country, and a swell dog too. Looks like you guys sure eat well! There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author

This looks very interesting! I´ve been toying with the idea of a reindeer hunt in Norway but this might be even better. Are reindeer endemic to Iceland? I must say I have very little knowledge of the wildlife. How is the hunt done? Stalking? What would the total price (minus flights) be for a reindeer hunt, trophy bull? Thanks cewe

I'd like to go seal and Seabird hunting for puffins, cormarents and the like. Anyone know how much one of those hunts would cost?? I believe strongly, that the flesh of the living animal is something very sacred. If you cannot bear freezing int he mud and wind of winter whilst you find them, if you cannot kill them yourself....and if you cannot stomach the stench and feel of guts and blood...... You have not the right to eat meat.

For seabird hunting you could expect to pay some 50-100USD per day per person in a boat and for seal hunting you should not pay anything, just go to some isolated beach( almost all the coast) and find one! IMHO the North coast and the northwestern peninsula are the best with the North having the Grey seal more common. They can be up to 450kgs(900lbs) If you would be in any doubt about your hunting rights at some area just ask the nearest farmer and he will most likely point you to the best place( after some coffie and kakes)as most of them dont really like the seals: Regards
