This is a hunt for Mid Asian Ibex in Tajikistan.










This hunt is in a remote area and hence the opportunity of taking a monster Ibex exists. On the last hunt a billy over 50" was taken!

Dates: October 2022 (exact dates to be decided)

Fly to Dushanbe and then drive to camp.

The hunt is a horseback hunt in rugged steep terrain so some experience of riding will come in handy! The base camp has proper accomodations and a sauna for washing and bathing. While hunting you will stay in shepherds cottages and other such primative dwellings with your local guides for 2 to 3 nights at a time, returning to base camp to refuel before heading out again if you need to. As with most Asian hunts, it is a great adventure which must be experienced atleast once even if you are not a hardcore mountain hunter. But only the adventurous need to apply!

In October there is usually little snow on the ground with pleasant sunny days and cool nights. Daytime temps are from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius and night are from 5 to – 5 degrees Celsius. Cold and snowy weather can come at any
time so you should pack some suitable clothing for this event and a white overall is very helpful for camouflage if there is snow on the ground.

If you are confident of shooting up to 300 yards you will be all set to go.

We have space for up to 4 hunters on this hunt. You will be accompanied by an experienced English speaking Western guide who will accompany the group and be on the ground the whole time to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The mid-asian Ibex hunts are still very well priced, especially when compared to the Bezoar Ibex which are now in the 14 to 16K+ range! Even the Spanish Ibex are getting way up there.
