Unit 48 near Ocate only 4 tags available this year only 2 hunters at a time. These are for any 5 consecutive days.

Non guided hunt. Owner will define hunting area very easy area to hunt
Best time is mid December these elk move into the hay fields on this ranch.
Room and Board close by $100/ night includes 3 meals a day or pack lunch.
Can be reached with a standard 4 wheel Drive truck.
