I have 2 permits available for this (2015) season with a BIG discount. This is for a trophy class area (ibex in the 42-47" class typically)...normally $17,900...NOW $13,900. Hunt can be done in prime time (rut) from mid. Nov-December. This is with our longtime partner (we have worked with them for 25+ years). Contact me for details - first come first served. Mr. Jeffs,
I looked on your website and your posted Turkey Ibex hunt is listed at $13,900 from your brochure. Is that hunt usually not for a trophy? Because the brochure says you can shoot any size ibex at that price.

Why would you pay an extra $4,000?

Matt- I saw your post, and I'm fully aware that the Hunt is $13,900

My point is that if you go to their website and Download their Brochure for 2015 (Not some discounted special hunt page, their PDF brochure that was made months ago) the price clearly states their Turkey Bezoar Ibex hunts are $13,900 with for ANY size Ibex.

Which is the reason for my original post.

Oryx, I see what you are saying.

The lack of response has to make one wonder.

Sure would be nice to have a response by the agent. It would appear as though he has been caught misleading or worse lying about this hunt? Before I place him on the ignore list of people who are annoying or deceitful a response is warranted. One can only hope there is actually a justifiable explanation but the silence says other wise??? I had been interested in some of his offers so...... there must be a reasonable explanation I'm sure....

Hi All,
I have been looking at hunts in Turkey for a few years and think I can help a little with the confusion. Turkey has lots of specific areas for Ibex. There are several price ranges depending on the management and Trophy average.
The 13,900 price is about normal for the basic areas. I think the one Jeff is talking about is the next step up. and the have areas that start at about 27,000. Most of the Ibex taken in these areas are 49"+ When you book a price range you can kill any Ibex in the area, if you see a 50" in a basic area you can take it, you just probably wont. Jeff is at Safari Outfitters, for you that don't know they are one of the biggest hunting consultants in the world, and they are one of the top for mountain game. Hope this helps

I pulled up the site and took a look.
They had one area that was $13,900 and a better site that was $17,900.
The special, to me, seems to be that you can go to the better site for $13,900 and is a $4000 discount.
I didn't see any confusion.

Sorry for the delayed reply...have been out of the office...our Turkish hunt is based on a 3 tier price structure....$13,900 for common hunt area where you can take any ibex you wish, but most will be in the 38-40 inch class.... $17,900 is for trophy area where you can expect 42-47 inch (this is the hunt we can offer for $13,900)...next price is $22,900 for trphy area with pre-scouting....so yes, you save $4,000. Please contact me with any questions....307. 587. 5596

Cheers, Clark Jeffs - Safari Outfitters
