According to news reports this past week, a cougar has been spotted by residents in Glencoe, Illinois, a suburb north of Chicago where I used to live. (Not as big as the monsters pictured here, which are fabulous.)

I can attest to there being deer in Glencoe, as one had a fawn in my back yard.
