Cheers

Charl!! HAHAHA - okay okay!

As you know +60lb bulls you have to go into the area where they are and THEN rely on the numbers game (look over the elephant until you fid the one you are looking for) - the +60lb bulls are here, we are sitting with an average of 59lbs - so obviously some bigger and some smaller.

"To shoot great bulls, you have to pass up big bulls!"

Later in the year is better for these - End of October, November - when it is dry and the elephants are more concentrated.

I've sent you a PM.

The elephant hunt looks exceptional. However, one question: if the elephant can't be imported to the US, why a dip and pack fee of $1100 if nothing is going to be dipped and packed? Secondly, is there a provision for storage of the tusks and skull should the importation be allowed in the future?
Just curious.
Cal

Hi Cal,

The dip and pack fee is exactly there for what you have said re: storage and finally exporting.

Firstly - if an non US citizen hunted this elephant then the dip and pack fee applies - as he can export it and with that comes the associated fee.

secondly - If a US citizen hunted this elephant and would want to keep the ivory in Zimbabwe until such time as the ban is lifted then the dip and pack fee applies, as this would be put towards getting his/her trophy to the US.

If you wanted to GIVE me the ivory after you shoot it Cal, I'll take the dip and pack off!

Wink
