Many of you in the AR community knew Russell and we all miss him. When Russ passed he left the Lodge to his mother and she sold out shortly after. Zwe was Russ's right hand man and did most of the transfers and real work of the lodge. Zwe now owns his own company "Travel Executives" and is providing expediting services at Vic Fall for hunters. He also is doing touring and fishing trips in and around the falls. I am posting this here in the hunting section in hopes the many PROS that use/view this site will be encouraged to reach out to Zwe and all of the support staff that he employs from the old Ultimate Safari Lodge for any and all of your clients needs in Vic Falls. Zwe is one of the finest men I have ever had the pleasure to meet and he is one of the most courteous and polite individuals I have ever known. For those that don't know Russell and Zwe--Russell was the only Zim PH that was given a PH license while being a paraplegic. Russ and Zwe handled handicapped hunters from all over the world providing dangerous game hunts for those that thought that was kind of hunt was out of their reach. They also collected and distributed 1000's of wheel chairs for other disabled Zimbabweans that would otherwise been left to crawl around in the dirt or scoot along on a home skate board with caster wheels like so many of us have seen in Africa. Russ was a great individual and a complete wild man. Not a day goes by I don't him think of him and what he did for me personally. I hope the AR community will remember him and in his honor help Zwe succeed and hopefully acquire a lodge that caters for and to hunters ONLY in Victoria Falls!!
