That does not sound like a "non-trophy" elephant bull to me. The hunt though is starting to sound a little like bull.

Kariba Lake is not a hunting area. What is the name of the concession. And who is the Zimbabwe PH, Wane?

Mangwa:

I respectfully suggest that you not make this offer curiouser and curiouser.

I've been from Binga to the damn by boat five or six times. The quality of concessions and facilities vary as much as Yugos do from Mercedes. Likewise, so vary the hunting and "client" skills of Zim P.H's. And, we from the U.S. have the Lacy Act to avoid.

The queries are reasonable and fair (not to mention information required by our gracious host) and come from informed, sophisticated and very experienced safari hunters. Detailed answers would be more like honey than vinegar in wooing this crowd.

Just saying...

This is a very interesting offer, BUT there are a lot of details that are either lacking or worrisome. Please give us all of the details on this hunt. Of course with only 5 days to go I guess its getting to close for most of us to put it all together anyway.
P.S. Just a thought but if I were an outfitter coming on a safari site selling hunts. I would have my name, location, contact info and link to my website in the profile section here. It tends to give us simple folks a lot more confidence!

While it is too late to take advantage of this offer I do have a question since you are selling hunts on Chete and the Sij for 2014.

You state above you are a registered PH and outfitter. Assuming you are Jacques Britt, are you a registered outfitter and licensed PH in Zimbabwe?

I know Wayne Dietrechsen is a licensed PH in Zim as there have been several reports about his company on the various forums.

Will hunt somewhere next year, maybe even Mozambique. This was the first year I missed in 6 years. I am trying to narrow the list down of potential outfitters.

Hi Fairgame, the meaning of a non-trophy Buffalo will not be a
Buffalo over 40",but anything from 36"-39". So it will be
A mature bull. The meaning of trophy will be SCI and Rowland
Animals.

Sorry but I don't understand your description of "non-trophy" elephant and buffalo, makes no sense at all.

In my book, an old Jumbo bull with broken tusks with a weight of 20lbs or less/side and/or an old dagga boy with a broken horn/s would qualify as non-trophy animal/s??
